Chorley’s is proud to align with The Gloucestershire Society, recognising the profound impact the charity has on addressing poverty and deprivation in its local communities. Throughout the year, Chorley’s will integrate the Gloucestershire Society’s mission into auctions and events, actively promoting the charity and raising funds to support its initiatives. “We are thrilled to announce The Gloucestershire Society as our Charity of the Year for 2025"
Chorley's is excited to declare The Gloucestershire Society as its Charity of the Year for 2025. This partnership aims to highlight and support the incredible work of The Gloucestershire Society, a charitable organisation founded in the year 1657 and dedicated to helping those in deep distress throughout the county.
The Gloucestershire Society, specialises in distributing small amounts of aid to those in dire need throughout the historic county, including Gloucestershire, South Gloucestershire and Bristol, north of the River Avon. With very low costs and a team of volunteers the majority of donations are given to those in need.
Chorley’s invites its patrons, partners, and the wider community to join hands in supporting this worthy cause. By attending Chorley’s auctions throughout the year, participants will not only have the opportunity to acquire exceptional items but also contribute to a meaningful cause that resonates with the spirit of community.
“We are thrilled to announce The Gloucestershire Society as our Charity of the Year for 2025. Chorley’s has always been deeply committed to the well-being of the Cotswold community, and we believe that supporting The Gloucestershire Society aligns perfectly with our values. We look forward to leveraging our platform to raise awareness and funds for this important cause,” said Thomas Jenner-Fust, Director at Chorley’s.
Brian D’Arcy-Clark, President of The Gloucestershire Society, commented: “We are delighted that Chorley’s has chosen The Gloucestershire Society as its designated charity for 2025 and look forward to working with the team to further extend our work across the Cotswold region.”
