Proceeds of the sale will will be donated to the Hartlebury Castle Preservation Trust (Charity 1127871).

Hartlebury Castle is a historic Worcestershire estate first given to Bishop Aelhun in 855AD. Home of the Bishops of Worcester until 2007. it has a longstanding connection with the Sandys family throughout its history.

Harris: cover very rubbed and worn to extremities, spine very worn and split, deckled page edges, occasional spotting, pages toned, remnants of stick binding holes, endapapers foxed

Compting House: binding good if a little rubbed, scuffed and spine darkened, hinges cracked endpapers and pastedown with browned edges, two fold out tables, pages toned, not collated

Regulating: contemporary calf with polish residue, gilding rubbed and title label starting to detach, not collated, one back endpaper excised, pages toned
