A Charles II oak tester bed, West Country probably Gloucestershire, some alterations, profusely carved overall, the posts supporting a fifteen panel tester carved with rosette filled four-prong leaf motifs, the headboard with twin arcaded panels incorporating the fleur-de-lys motif in the upper corners, the top rail centred with the date 1679, 163cm wide, 200cm long, 203cm high

Fitted Relyon mattress in nice condition. Size 4' 9" wide x 6" long.
Overall appearance good, ready for use. The cornice with embellishments, the height altered (raised). The tester (roof) possibly associated.
