Provenance:In 1958 Firmins sold their eighty six civilian uniform button pattern books to collectors/dealers in the United States, at least three of these contained hunt buttons. This pattern book is one of two which have been brought back to the U.K. and represents an important source for the identification of 19th Century hunt buttons
