The large boy with overlay crackled glaze, all over scuffed and scratched coimmensurate with age and use, joined panel depicting the boy's foot split but attached, several paint chip and slight abrasions, some after damage to paint to left shoulder with canvas bubbling up and cracking. The girl with oak backing panel, painted on canvas with several losses to hand, lower left corner of dress, with small wear and a little fraying to edges, canvas lifting off board to base, areas of retouching, in need of cleaning and restoration
