An early 18th Century walnut and featherbanded chest of drawers, the rectangular moulded edge top above two short and three long drawers with brass handles, on bun feet, 94.5cm wide, 54cm deep, 94cm high

The top with a horizontal split, several other veneer cracks, veneer lifting and moisture damage including ring marks. The banding with loss to the front right. The top significantly faded. Overall scuffs and scratches and minor chips and losses. The right side with a vertical crack to the boards and another crack to the right board with a veneer repair approximately 6cm square. The drawers with inconsistent finish wear and fading. Locks missing to all drawers. Later handles. The bun feet with old worm damage, and moisture damage, with old filler restoration which is crumbling. Later strengthening to back panel.
