A Meissen part tea service, circa 1740, painted in purple camaïeu with Watteau-style scenes of figures in gardens, the sides and interiors with Holzschnittblumen, gilt anthemion scroll borders and gilt line rims, blue crossed swords mark and gilder's crescent, comprising a globular teapot and cover, rectangular tea canister and cover and a circular sugar bowl and cover, the teapot 10.5cm high.

A Meissen part tea service, circa 1740, painted in purple camaïeu with Watteau-style scenes of figures in gardens, the sides and interiors with Holzschnittblumen, gilt anthemion scroll borders and gilt line rims, blue crossed swords mark and gilder's crescent, comprising a globular teapot and cover, rectangular tea canister and cover and a circular sugar bowl and cover, the teapot 10.5cm high.

Cover of the canister has a break through it with associated rim chip, and the finial broken through the stem.

The teapot has a hairline crack to the footrim which extends into the base and up the side up to the painting. Several small footrim chips.

Sugar bowl - some chips to applied flowers and leaves of the handle, otherwise in good condition.

All with some light wear and rubbing to gilding in places.
